British Airways Banners
I freelanced at Agency.com on and off for about 6 months in 2005 and during my time there i was asked to create a series of banners for British Airways. Agency.com do a good job in creating the concepts of these banners and have very high production values when it comes to banners, with a great attention to detail. They are hard task masters but I learnt a lot about flash animation while I was there.
Flash banner design and build
The first baner was created to be seen at an ATM machine and was delivered while the cash was waiting to be dispensed.The idea is that beds are so soft that they will be disturbed by even the lightest of feathers
The second banner was created as an overlay to promote flights to South Africa.
The third banner, an expandable skyscrapper was created to promote flights to Geneva. A piece of video was captured in after effects exported as a sequence of jpgs and traced to get the movement of the snowboarder.
The fourth banner was created to promote budget flights to Hong Kong. This banner was one of the most succesfull in Agency.com's history. The combination of a good creative and a great offer coming together well.
